ITW was launched in 2008 by a cooperative of over 20 of the largest voice carriers around the world. Since then, it has become one of the biggest hubs for executives in telecom and ICT infrastructure.
In the past year, ITW has expanded to include international conferences on two other continents! The launched ITW Africa in Nairobi, Kenya in 2023 and plan to hold the inaugural ITW Asia will in Singapore in December 2024.
Where is ITW 2024 Held?
This year’s International Telecoms Week event takes place May 15-17, 2024 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland.
However, that doesn’t fully explain the destination to international travelers – or even domestic attendees who have never visited the area before!
National Harbor is in Maryland, but it is located on the state border just across the Potomac River from Virginia. It’s also a short drive south of the US capitol Washington DC. In fact, People often confuse National Harbor for being part of Washington DC, especially with “National” in the name!
Our team has been to previous ITW events at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. We love this harborfront hotel located a half hour from downtown Washington DC – but, it books up quickly!
There are several other hotels and conference centers within walking distance of the main ITW 2024 event venue, including Residence Inn National Harbor and Hampton Inn & Suites National Harbor.
