ITW was launched in 2008 by a cooperative of over 20 of the largest voice carriers around the world. Since then, it has become one of the biggest hubs for executives in telecom and ICT infrastructure.
In recent years, ITW has expanded to include international conferences on two other continents! They launched ITW Africa in 2023, which will be held this year in Nairobi, Kenya on September 9-11, 2025. And, in 2024 they held the inaugural ITW Asia, which will return to Singapore on December 3-4, 2025.
Where is ITW Held?
International Telecoms Week 2025 returns to the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland on May 5-7, 2025.
However, take it from a team who has been to this conference before – just saying “National Harbor” doesn’t full explain where the event is located if you’ve never visited the area before!
National Harbor it is located on the state border, on the Maryland side the Potomac River. Just across the river is Virginia, but it’s also a quick drive from Washington DC. In fact, visitors sometimes assume National Harbor is part of Washington DC, especially since it has “National” in the name!
Our team has been to previous ITW events at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. We love this waterfront hotel located a just a 30-minute drive from Washington DC – but, beware it books up quickly!
There are several other hotels and conference centers within walking distance of the main ITW 2025 event venue, including Residence Inn National Harbor and Hampton Inn & Suites National Harbor.
